How long have you been drawing?
Since I could remember. I started by copying the coloring book for children
(Sailormoon. lol.) until I remembered how to draw face. My mom taught
me to draw the body, since she drew to design the clothes for her shop.
I seriously thought about drawing comic / manga / Japanese cartoon style
when I was around 15 years old. I continued on drawing and drawing. Until
I am what I am these days.
When did you start CGing?
My first CG art was done in October 2001, with Adobe Photoshop. I used
mouse to color. I used tablet in around July 2002. I have been doing CG
since then.
What tablet do you use?
I first used MGlogic tablet (not wireless)... until it broke.
I changed to use Genius tablet. I used it for around ... 2-3 years. Now
I'm using Wacom Intuos 3 (bought on 29 December 2006). I recommend Wacom
tablet if you'd like to use tablet for CGing.
What program do you use?
It varies. First I used Adobe Photoshop to CGing. In May 2003,
I tried CGing in open Canvas. In June 2003 I tried Painter, but I thought
it was hard for me. I studied more about open Canvas by watching a lot
of oC events (which allows you to review all progress of artwork artist
did.). I improved a lot since then, especially in 2004. I use open Canvas
and Painter for now, Photoshop for retouching. I still mainly use open
Canvas to color.
How to be a good artist like you?
Well, I'm not a good artist. I always think it's not enough.
To ask me, I will say the only way to improve on drawing and coloring
is "practise". My special quote is "Practise makes Perfect".
No one perfect at the first. Every good artists make their own progresses
and long way to become at their points. Practise and learning from books
or tutorials. It's no use if you keep asking the others and don't do anything
yourself.
How to do CG?
First, search some CG tutorials, second, read it, third, just
try. Then practise more and more. Find your own style.
Could you do tutorials please?
I may, but it's not a clear promise. I do anything at my own
will. If you keep asking me it will only make an annoyance for me.
You owe my art too long. Where have you been?
Sorry, but my real life work is my first priority. Artists are
not machines. Sometimes art block is a problem for me too. I know what
I must do. No matter how long I take. If you still be patience to wait,
I will do art for you at last. It's totally fine if you would like to
cancel to get art from me, it's totally fine. I don't mind it. I'm sorry
to make you waste your time.
Do you accept request, art trade, color my lineart or draw characters
for my story, games, or design website for me?
Sorry, NO. I don't take any request, unless you're my VERY close
friends. And for art trade, it depends, if your art can make me drool,
then we can talk *0* (but it's up to my pending work list too).
Do you take commission?
Yes, BUT check the status FIRST. I won't reply mail or question
if my slots are all filled and have no any spots for your order. Also,
I accept only IRL commission (real money). I ABSOLUTELY don't accept Gaia
commission. It's only pixel and can't full my stomach. lol. |
