FAQ

PLEASE, read FAQs before asking me the questions via email or bbs. If I don't reply your email, or bbs, it's because your questions have already answered in FAQs. Or else... I'm slow. (Rarely to check yahoo mail.)

Genaral Question

What is your nationality? How old are you? Where do you live? Where do you learn? etc.
Better read my profile in "About" section.

Have you studied in art school?
Yes, in university. I studied in Fine Art faculty, majoring in Sculpture.

Do you have MSN? May I add you?
Yes, I have MSN. I don't like random contacts. I only allow my friends to add it. If you have any questions, keep it in email and bbs only.

I find you in "blah" and "blah" and "blah", is that a real you?
I faced this situation few times. People claims he/she is me. Maybe even steal my artworks. Please know THEY ARE LIARS. I played only in Deviantart (Eng) as raykit, in GaiaOnline (Eng) as Ray Kitsune or Ray Kit, in All-Final (Thai) as Ray Kitsune, in LiveJournal (Eng) as raykit and in Yaoi-Gallery as raykit. Other than that is not me.

Hey, I found website, art thieves who use your artworks!!!
Thank you so much for telling me. I'm very appreciated. It's fine as long as they give a credits and link back to my website. IF that person don't say anything about artwork is done by me, or even claims that it's his / hers. That's art thief. And please report it to someone who can manage it (Like administor of the forum, etc.)

What about 'tracing'?
Tracing is not a cool way to draw though. I don't mind if you trace my lineart BUT I will mind if you show that artwork and say "I drew it!". It's not fair. Tracing makes you can improve. But don't do it in a wrong way. I ever done tracing, but I never shown it on internet. It's just "practising", okay? Do not be SO proud of it.

Can I use your artworks?
Yes, under these rules. But for commission artworks. YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO USE IT IN ANY CASE. Unless you're a commissioner yourself.
- Personal use only. Meaning save it for yourself.
- ABSOLUTELY NO: For commercial, advertising, prints, copy, anything you're going to make profit from my artworks. AND, claims artworks it's yours (ex. Erase my signature and put yours).
- Gallery : Link + Credit. No more 5 illustrations.
- Avatars : credits + link in the sign
- wallpapers : credits + link on the wallpaper
- layout for personnal website : credits + link on the layout
- winamp skins / ICQ skin / MSN skin : credits + link
- sign / tag / tube : credits and link on the pic

You suck!
Yes, I am. I do what I please, I say what I please. If I think it's not right for me. It's fine if you do not agree. People has different point of view, so it doesn't matter.

Art Question

How long have you been drawing?
Since I could remember. I started by copying the coloring book for children (Sailormoon. lol.) until I remembered how to draw face. My mom taught me to draw the body, since she drew to design the clothes for her shop. I seriously thought about drawing comic / manga / Japanese cartoon style when I was around 15 years old. I continued on drawing and drawing. Until I am what I am these days.

When did you start CGing?
My first CG art was done in October 2001, with Adobe Photoshop. I used mouse to color. I used tablet in around July 2002. I have been doing CG since then.

What tablet do you use?
I first used MGlogic tablet (not wireless)... until it broke. I changed to use Genius tablet. I used it for around ... 2-3 years. Now I'm using Wacom Intuos 3 (bought on 29 December 2006). I recommend Wacom tablet if you'd like to use tablet for CGing.

What program do you use?
It varies. First I used Adobe Photoshop to CGing. In May 2003, I tried CGing in open Canvas. In June 2003 I tried Painter, but I thought it was hard for me. I studied more about open Canvas by watching a lot of oC events (which allows you to review all progress of artwork artist did.). I improved a lot since then, especially in 2004. I use open Canvas and Painter for now, Photoshop for retouching. I still mainly use open Canvas to color.

How to be a good artist like you?
Well, I'm not a good artist. I always think it's not enough. To ask me, I will say the only way to improve on drawing and coloring is "practise". My special quote is "Practise makes Perfect". No one perfect at the first. Every good artists make their own progresses and long way to become at their points. Practise and learning from books or tutorials. It's no use if you keep asking the others and don't do anything yourself.

How to do CG?
First, search some CG tutorials, second, read it, third, just try. Then practise more and more. Find your own style.

Could you do tutorials please?
I may, but it's not a clear promise. I do anything at my own will. If you keep asking me it will only make an annoyance for me.

You owe my art too long. Where have you been?
Sorry, but my real life work is my first priority. Artists are not machines. Sometimes art block is a problem for me too. I know what I must do. No matter how long I take. If you still be patience to wait, I will do art for you at last. It's totally fine if you would like to cancel to get art from me, it's totally fine. I don't mind it. I'm sorry to make you waste your time.

Do you accept request, art trade, color my lineart or draw characters for my story, games, or design website for me?
Sorry, NO. I don't take any request, unless you're my VERY close friends. And for art trade, it depends, if your art can make me drool, then we can talk *0* (but it's up to my pending work list too).

Do you take commission?
Yes, BUT check the status FIRST. I won't reply mail or question if my slots are all filled and have no any spots for your order. Also, I accept only IRL commission (real money). I ABSOLUTELY don't accept Gaia commission. It's only pixel and can't full my stomach. lol.

Website Question

How long have you been doing website?
Since 15 September 2001. "Mysterious Villa" is the name of the website. I changed to be "Night Soul" and opened site on 3 March 2003, along with Ameba and Uriel, my internet younger sisters. And "Blank Space" is my solo website again. Born on 9 May 2006.

What program do you use to make a website?
Micromedia Dreamweaver is my friend. Graphics done in Adobe Photoshop and sometimes I use Notepad for edit minor coding.

May I link your website?
Of course, link is free. You can find banners in link section. Thank you so much for link to my site ^^

Could we make a link exchange?
Sorry, no. I don't have time to manage all links. So I decide to add only web favorite websites or my friends website (that are a good artists).
